What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser so it can recognise you on your next visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, serve the same purpose. Loveg uses very few of them, and almost all exist just so the app works.
Essential cookies
Without these cookies you cannot sign in or move around the app. They do not require consent, because they are needed to provide the service you asked for:
- Sign-in session: keeps you signed in after you enter with a magic link or your Google account. It expires on its own and is removed when you sign out.
- Form protection: a code that stops another website from sending requests on your behalf during sign-in.
- Language: remembers the language you chose (Portuguese, English or Spanish) for up to one year.
- Visit origin: if you arrived through a campaign or referral link, we keep for 90 days where you came from, so we know what brought you here. This cookie is not readable by the browser and is never shared with advertisers.
Preferences kept in your browser
Some choices live in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies: the light or dark theme, your preferred language and the day you last opened the app. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you clear the site's data.
Audience measurement
To know how many people visit the site we use Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you across different websites. Actions inside the app, such as opening the Premium screen, are recorded on our own servers and are never sold or passed on to advertising networks.
Ads
Ads on the free plan use no cookies: nothing is stored in your browser to choose, show or count them, and no third-party ad network runs on the site. Views and clicks are counted on our own servers without identifying you. When you click an ad you go to the brand's website, which may set its own cookies under its own policies. Premium subscribers see no ads. If we ever use third-party ad networks, this policy will be updated first, and their cookies will only be set with your consent.
